What does following Jesus look like in everyday life?

Sometimes it looks like bringing a meal, offering a ride, helping a neighbor, or sitting with someone who is hurting.

In the closing message of CLife’s series, Hands & Feet: The Practice of Serving, we explore service as a witness for the Gospel.

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus came to us, took our sin upon Himself, died, and rose again. Through Him, we can be forgiven, restored to relationship with God, and given new life.

That good news needs to be shared. Our lives can help people see what our words mean.

In this message, we explore:

• How practical service makes our faith visible.

• What Jesus means when He calls us the light of the world.

• Why we serve people out of love, without expecting anything in return.

• How to be ready to explain our hope with gentleness and respect.

This week’s challenge: Think of someone you already know and ask, “What burden could I help carry?” Then take one practical step to make their life a little lighter.

We serve because Jesus served. We love because Jesus loves.
