Can truth and grace exist together?

In His longest letter to the seven churches, Jesus speaks to the church in Thyatira—a church that was growing in love, faith, service, and perseverance. In fact, Jesus commended them for doing more than they had done at first.

But alongside that encouragement came a serious warning.

The church had begun tolerating sin within its own community, allowing false teaching to lead believers away from God's truth. Jesus confronts them—not because He has stopped loving them, but because He loves them too much to let sin continue destroying His people.

This message reminds us that God's correction is always rooted in His love.

Just as a loving parent disciplines a child, our Heavenly Father calls us away from what brings brokenness and toward the life He created us to experience.

Throughout this message we explore:

• Why Jesus describes Himself with eyes like blazing fire and feet of burnished bronze.

• Why God takes sin seriously.

One of the most beautiful truths in this letter is found in Revelation 2:21:

"I have given her time to repent."

Even in correction, God's first response is mercy.
